As we stand on the edge of history, just one game away from retaining our Mumbai Premier League crown, we write to you not just with football in our hearts but with gratitude in our souls.
This season has been nothing short of a journey. A journey of faith, fight, and family.
From the rugged hills of Aizawl where our I-League 3 campaign began, to the charged stadiums of West Bengal, our team braved every challenge on unfamiliar turf. We wore the MYJ badge with pride - earning respect, recognition, and most importantly, promotion to the I-League 2. It was our debut season at the national level and we stood tall.
Back home in Mumbai, the road wasn’t any easier. For the first time in over a year, we tasted defeat in the local league. Our unbeaten streak, once our identity, was broken. In the Championship Playoff, we managed just one point from our opening two games. The noise grew louder. Doubts emerged. But you, our fans, never wavered.
You stayed. And because you stayed, we rose.
Game after game, your chants were the wind in our sails. Your belief became our fire. With five wins and a draw in our next six matches, we turned the tide and climbed back to the top of the table. Now, heading into the final match, a win or draw will make us champions once again.
But this isn’t just about a trophy. It’s about the sweat at practice, the tears in defeat, the joy in victory and the people in the stands who make it all matter. It’s about our boys carrying the dreams of their hometowns. It’s about our academy kids looking up to the first team and saying, “Someday, that’ll be me.”
And it’s about you. Every single person who wore our colors, who whispered a prayer before kick-off, who showed up - rain or shine.
We are here because of you.
As we enter this final game, we ask you once more: Stand with us. Sing with us. Suffer with us. Celebrate with us. Let’s finish this season the way we started it—together. WE ROAR TOGETHER
