April 8, 2026

MYJ would like to inform all supporters, well-wishers, and members of the football community that our player, Himanshu Patil, sustained a serious injury during our MFA Playoff fixture against Hope United on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Cooperage Stadium, Churchgate.
Following immediate medical attention, Himanshu was evaluated at Bombay Hospital, Marine Lines, where he was diagnosed with a left ankle dislocation with lower end displaced fibula fracture.
We are relieved to share that Himanshu has successfully undergone surgery, with no further complications reported. He is now beginning his recovery journey, and the entire MYJ family continues to stand firmly by his side.
Himanshu has already shown the fighting spirit that defines this club, and in a message to the team after surgery, he said:
“Hi family. Thank you for your prayers and wishes. See you soon. And don’t forget to complete our dream. Let’s give the strongest comeback in both (MFA and I-League 2) leagues.”
His words reflect the unity, resilience and belief that drive MYJ forward.
We thank everyone for their prayers, support and concern during this time. We wish Himanshu strength in his recovery and look forward to seeing him back stronger than ever.
Stay strong, Himanshu. The MYJ family is with you — always.
