In a thrilling MFA Nadkarni Cup playoff match, MYJ-GMSC and MH Oranje FC shared the points after a hard-fought 1-1 draw at Neville Dsouza Ground.
The Mighty Lions struck first in style, with Jay Bhavani scoring a stunning curling effort from 20 yards out, finding the top-right corner. However, MH Oranje FC responded just before halftime through Yogesh Kadam, who headed home the equalizer from a corner.
The second half saw MYJ-GMSC dominate possession and create several chances, with Kamran Ansari and Himanshu Patil testing Oranje's goalkeeper Mukunthan, who was in exceptional form.
In stoppage time, Manoj pulled off a brilliant save to deny Oranje’s Duane and ensure we took home a point.
The draw keeps the semifinal race wide open, with a win needed in the final group game against Mumbay FC on December 5.
