MYJ-GMSC continued their impressive form in the Maharashtra State Senior Men's Football League, securing a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Milan SB Foundation.
This comfortable win marks their fifth consecutive match without defeat, further solidifying their strong position in the league.
The Mighty Lions started strong, with the Striker Himanshu Patil continuing with his scoring touch. He expertly slotted home a precise finish near the 13-minute mark, giving us an early and well-deserved lead.
Early in the second half, at the 52' mark, Sujal Ghanekar further solidified our advantage. with a stunner of a goal from outside the box, thereby extended our lead to 2-0, putting us firmly in control of the encounter.
To put the result beyond any doubt skipper, Keegan Pereira, stepped up to take the penalty in the 79th minute. With calmness, he dispatched the spot-kick, sending the Milan SB Foundation goalkeeper the wrong way and sealing a comfortable 3-0 victory for MYJ-GMSC.
