MYJ-GMSC ended the first phase of the MSMFL campaign in spectacular fashion, delivering a commanding 9-0 victory over Ratnagiri Pioneers before the league headed into its break.
Brushing past their 2-0 loss in the previous game against MH Oranje FC, the Mighty Lions showcased an unstoppable attacking display, with multiple players finding the back of the net in a truly comprehensive performance.
The goalfest began early, with Tanmay leading the charge by securing a brilliant first-half hat-trick. Not content with that, he added another goal in the second half, bringing his tally to four for the match. Palash Barbar also contributed to the first-half scoring, netting in the 28th minute. The second half saw no let-up in MYJ-GMSC's relentless attack. Star striker Himanshu Patil, continued his impressive form by bagging a second-half hat-trick. To cap off the dominant display, Kamran Ansari joined the scoring spree with a late goal, sealing the emphatic 9-0 win.
This resounding victory not only provided a strong finish to Phase 1 but also served as a significant statement of intent from MYJ-GMSC as they go into the break at the 2nd place in the league table just one point behind league leaders
