MYJ-GMSC brought their league season to a spectacular close today, delivering an astounding and record-breaking 15-0 victory over Ratnagiri Pioneers. In what was the final match of the competition, the 'Mighty Lions' unleashed an unparalleled attacking display, recording the biggest margin of win seen throughout the league campaign.
The goals came thick and fast, showcasing the depth of talent within the squad. Dwight Dabreo led the charge with an impressive four goals (28', 33', 50', 52'), while Angel Erangle secured a fine hat-trick (6', 63', 82'). Andre Gazdar also contributed to the first-half tally just before the break (45+2'). However, the day belonged to Himanshu Patil, who netted an incredible seven goals (34', 38', 47', 67', 73', 79', 90+1'), capping off an exceptional individual season by finishing as the league's top scorer with a remarkable total of 21 goals.
