Our Mumbai Premier League journey came to an end in the final as we suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat against MH Oranje FC at the Neville Dsouza Ground.
The first half was evenly contested, with both sides creating opportunities in a tightly fought encounter. We came close to taking the lead on multiple occasions, but were denied by some excellent goalkeeping.
Oranje FC found the breakthrough in the second half through a well-taken free-kick before doubling their advantage from the penalty spot later in the game. Despite the setback, we continued to push forward and found a late goal through Arvindraj, whose finish gave us hope in the closing minutes.
Although we narrowly missed out on the title, there are plenty of positives to take from the season as we secure a third consecutive top-two finish in the Mumbai Premier League while continuing our journey in I-League 2.
