We continued our perfect run in the Mumbai Premier League with a composed 2–0 victory over PIFA, extending our winning streak to five matches and maintaining our strong defensive record.
We started the game confidently, pushing forward with intent and creating chances down the wings. Shamer was a constant threat on the left, and his effort paid off in the 37th minute when he finished calmly to give us the lead going into halftime. While PIFA tried to catch us on the counter, we stayed organised and dealt well with the danger.
The second half was more evenly contested, but we stayed patient and in control. Our pressure told again in the 63rd minute when Arif Shaikh found the net with a calm penalty finish to double our advantage and seal the result. We managed the game well from there, keeping another clean sheet and seeing the match out professionally.
Five wins, four clean sheets, and just one goal conceded so far — a strong start we’re determined to build on.
