We stepped into one of the aticipated clashes of the Mumbai Premier League knowing exactly what was at stake. Sitting at the top of Group B, we were determined to protect our perfect run and extend our winning streak against a strong Mumbay FC side chasing us closely.
From the first whistle, we applied pressure and controlled the tempo. In the 9th minute, Himanshu gave us the perfect start with a composed finish to put us ahead. We continued to push and were rewarded again before the break when Kiran headed home from a corner, after a smart flick by Shravan, to give us a comfortable lead at half-time.
Mumbay FC came out stronger in the second half, but we handled the pressure well and responded in style. Miit Adekar, coming off the bench, produced a moment of brilliance in the 70th minute to extend our lead. Soon after, an own goal forced by our attacking pressure made it four. Ghatnur added another just two minutes later, and Tannmay capped off the night in stoppage time to seal a commanding victory.
Another clean sheet. Another strong performance. We continue our unbeaten run making it 7 out of 7 and strengthen our position at the top.
