We continued our unbeaten run in the Mumbai Premier League with a composed and disciplined performance against Iron Born, showing control on the ball and solidity at the back once again.
We dominated the first half with calm possession and good movement, using quick switches from the middle to stretch the opposition. Our pressure paid off early when Ashish made a strong run from the wing and finished confidently in the 9th minute to give us the lead. We stayed organised defensively despite a few counter-attacks from Iron Born, and just before the break, Himanshu added our second with a simple header to put us 2-0 up at halftime.
The second half was about game management. We stayed compact, limited Iron Born's chances, and continued to look for openings at the other end. Our patience was rewarded late on when substitute Arif came off the bench to score his first goal of the season in the 85th minute, sealing another clean-sheet win for us.
It was another professional outing as we kept our momentum going and continued our strong start to the season.
