The Mighty Lions showcased their dominance with a commanding 4-1 win against PIFA in their Group A clash, solidifying their position at the top of the table.
The Lions struck first in the 16th minute when Praveen Kumavat's corner found Keegan at the far post, who headed home brilliantly. PIFA quickly equalized in the 19th minute through skipper Sanu Thunder’s powerful header from a free-kick.
However, the Lions regained control in the 36th minute as skipper Tejas Raut's long ball found Sujal, who finished clinically to make it 2-1.
In the second half, Allan’s lobbed pass set up Jay for a cutback to Rajendra, who tapped in the third. Keegan Pereira added the final touch with an injury-time penalty, sealing the emphatic 4-1 victory.
